Depriming spent casings can be one of the most tedious tasks in the reloading process. From sorting your brass to setting up your reloading press and resetting your dies, it can be tiresome; especially when those spent primers end up all over the floor. However, depriming is necessary in order to install a new primer later in the reloading process. All spent primers must be removed before new primers can be put in.

The easiest way to deprime your shells without having to toy with your reloading press is a hand deprimer. The Frankford Arsenal Hand Deprimer makes depriming easier and more organized than ever. The tool comes with three universal collets that cover every caliber ranging from .20 all the way to .338 Lapua. Plus, it has a built in spent primer catcher, keeping your reloading floor mess free. The hand deprimer makes it so easy that you could even watch a bit of TV while going through those mixed bags of brass you’ve been avoiding.

With a hand deprimer you can say goodbye to mess, broken pins, and constantly having to change shell holders in your press. Even if you shoot military ammunition, this tool easily removes the crimped primers that are characteristic of these particular loads. The ergonomically designed handle makes it comfortable to roll through tons of spent rifle or pistol brass. If you have plenty of brass you need to deprime, this is the perfect tool for you.
